The Iowa County Engineer is appointed by the Board of Supervisors to provide
oversight of roads and bridges in Iowa County.

Iowa County Secondary Road systems is comprised of:
• 16 Townships (approximately 587 square miles)
• 159 miles of paved
• 697 miles of gravel roads
• 74 miles of dirt roads
Iowa County Engineer:

Mission is to provide unincorporated Iowa County with the safest and
highest quality of roads and bridges. We seek to accomplish this with
constructing bridges and culverts, paving roads, and grading roads,
gravel, snow removal, traffic signing, and brush control with the most
advanced technology possible.
